Mental Health Issues
This series is from our Parish Grapevine which we began for World Mental Health Day.
It was designed to increase understanding of mental health issues across the ages. I was disturbed to hear the story of a local woman with mental health problems who felt that none of her neighbours understood her, and because of that, hardly ever went out of her home.
When we look at the gospels, we see that healing and wholeness are very much part of the good news, and over the years Christians have persistently prayed for healing and have been actively promoting health and well being in many different ways.
