Julius and Grace (headteacher of Beulah) are involved in Initiatives for Change and Julius is particulalry involved in the Clean Election Capaign  and the Clean Kenya Campaign.

One of Julius's colleagues Joseph Karanja started the clean election campaign back in the 1990s. It was at a time of great corruption and violence for those who opposed those in power. When Joseph thought about the campaign his thought was "Are you ready to die" he thought about this and said yes, from there he and his team enlisted the churches and the campaign started. Some who signed up lost their jobs, some were attacked. In the first election in the 1900s they made their mark, then in the next election many say they were decisive in causing a change of government. Non would say all is well, but the process did bring hope back to many who had seen the results of people power. Since then more than half the High Court Judges have been removed due to corruption. It is against this background the Julius is standing for parliament.

So far we have had the opportunity of helping to provide beds for the children and kitchen equipment.
