Tarvin Village Quiz is something of an institution. It takes place over two Fridays in January with teams competing in the Community Centre.

Members of the church have done a lot to support this village event over the years. They've entered two teams in recent years - to improve their chances. Never taking it too seriously St Andrew's teams have never gone too far in the competition - until this year!

This year's Z team was made up of Graham Vernon, Steve Threadgold, Harry Wilson and captain Incredible, Liz Threadgold. Beating the Bowling Club, Civic Trust, the Methodist Church and Miscellany (all of them past winners - some of them very serious) they emerged popular winners.

This makes the team a very attractive proposition for prospective WEALTHY American backers.

The Church Council is having talks to renew Liz Threadgold's contract to 2025.
