St Andrew's was full of well wishers for the Confirmation Service which was led by the Bishop of Chester and Richard Tuckwell.

Those confirmed were Fred Newsome, Luke Coward-Griffiths and Rebecca Blagg (from St Peter's, Duddon) and Irene Robertson, Sarah Katherine Doyle, Cara Grime, Duncan Farr, Jasmine Parker, Sam Dromgoole and Alex Dromgoole.

Harriet Farr and Thomas Wardle were also admitted for Communion.
